Health Guarantee and Shipping Process at Kim’s Sphynx Kittens Home

At Kim’s Sphynx Kittens Home, we take great pride in the health and well-being of our kittens. We understand that adopting a new pet is a significant commitment, which is why we offer a comprehensive health guarantee to provide peace of mind to our customers.

Health Guarantee

1. Health Screening

Before a kitten leaves our care, they undergo a thorough veterinary examination to ensure they are in optimal health. This examination includes:

  • Physical examination: Our veterinarian checks the kitten's overall health, including their weight, body condition, and vital signs.
  • Vaccinations: Kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations to protect against common feline diseases such as feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia.
  • Parasite control: We administer deworming medication and provide preventative treatment for parasites such as fleas and ticks.
  • Health certificate: Each kitten comes with a health certificate signed by our veterinarian, indicating that they are healthy and free from contagious diseases.

2. Health Guarantee Terms

Our health guarantee is designed to protect our customers and their new kitten in the event of unforeseen health issues. Key terms of our health guarantee include:

  • Genetic health guarantee: We offer a one-year genetic health guarantee against hereditary conditions that are known to affect the Sphynx breed.
  • Initial health check: Customers have 72 hours from the time of receiving their kitten to have them examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the veterinarian determines that the kitten has a pre-existing health condition, we will offer a replacement kitten of equal value or a refund, as per our discretion.
  • Notification: Customers must notify us immediately if their kitten develops any health issues within the first year. We will work with the customer to address the issue and ensure the kitten receives appropriate medical care.

3. Customer Responsibilities

While we take every precaution to ensure the health of our kittens, we also recognize the importance of responsible pet ownership. Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing a loving and safe environment for their kitten.
  • Following the recommended vaccination and deworming schedule provided by our veterinarian.
  • Seeking prompt veterinary care if their kitten displays any signs of illness or distress.

Shipping Process

We understand that not all customers are able to visit our facility in person to pick up their kitten. That's why we offer shipping options to make the adoption process as convenient as possible.

1. Shipping Methods

We offer two shipping methods for customers who are unable to pick up their kitten in person:

  • Airline shipping: We work with reputable airlines to transport kittens to their new homes via cargo. Kittens are housed in a secure, climate-controlled environment and receive the same level of care and attention during transit.
  • Ground transportation: For customers located within a certain radius of our facility, we offer ground transportation services. Our experienced drivers ensure that kittens are transported safely and comfortably to their new homes.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and shipping method. Customers are responsible for covering all shipping expenses, including the cost of transportation, carrier fees, and any required health certificates.

3. Shipping Preparation

Before shipping a kitten, we take several steps to ensure their safety and well-being during transit:

  • Health check: We conduct a final health check to ensure the kitten is fit for travel.
  • Secure carrier: Kittens are placed in a sturdy, well-ventilated carrier with absorbent bedding and a supply of food and water.
  • Documentation: We provide all necessary documentation, including a health certificate and travel itinerary, to accompany the kitten during transit.

4. Arrival

Upon arrival at their destination, customers are responsible for:

  • Meeting the kitten at the designated arrival location.
  • Providing a warm, quiet space for the kitten to acclimate to their new surroundings.
  • Following any post-arrival care instructions provided by our team.

At Kim’s Sphynx Kittens Home, we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our kittens, whether they are traveling to their new homes or staying with us at our facility. Our comprehensive health guarantee and shipping process are designed to provide peace of mind to our customers and ensure a smooth transition for their new furry friends.
